Fastest way to earn Orbs of Masamune solo? Other than Trials

Currently on Insanity 1 (27 orbs per trial), just finished "One more thing". As thread says, does anyone here have a good idea of reliably getting OoMs quickly?

Toxitor (miniboss from Stop the Ooze) dropped 27 orbs for me when I KO'd him for the first time. I haven't done it again, but are OoM's only a chance to drop from minibosses?

Each insanity level adds another 5 orbs, but I get plastered out at Insanity 3 within seconds. I guess I'll be working on my stats, skills and weapon stats for the moment.

You can get orbs by doing quests, killing champs and trials. Trials are the fastest, as champs don't respawn like other mobs so you would need to reload level.

Play at trial. Once completed, repeat, play again and again. It the fastest way to farm the orbs. It will take at least 10 hours to complete this achievement.

Honestly it depends on your character. The way I farm orbs is by going into the Hiesenberg: Part 3 mission and killing the mini boss there named "Lord of War". They also almost always spawn you right near the boss so you can quickly kill him, grab the orbs and start the mission again and repeat. Plus you get rare gems from killing the boss each time. But I play on insanity 7 so its easier for me to collect orbs this way since I get 57 each time and can usually get 1000 within the hour.

Since you are on insanity 1-2 then it probably isn't worth doing that method and I would go with what the others suggested above. But once you do eventually get to higher insanity levels then I do suggest my method.

I just do the trial of embedding 1 on insanity 4, whatever insanity level you can do it quickly without dying on.

no dude, the fastest way to get Orbs, is to kill the Lord-of-War mini-boss on the "Heisenberg-Part 3" map over and over (since he's one of several bosses that can be farmed multiple times)

the reason why most people recommend farming this particular mini-boss in this map, is because the game teleports you not too far from his location (which is why you can farm him over-and-over), making him an easy kill.

normally he's weak to Ice Damage, but also found out, that he's super-vulnerable to both Toxic and Electric Damage as well (especially if its elemental DPS is excessive)
