Thanks, good idea except I lack the gem of that combination. This is the best config I can make from the stuff I have.
I dont really need to reduce weakness to be honest.. If I used the element they are weak against I'm already doing double dmg, reducing weakness improves dmg too little beyond that. So crit still wins.
Also, I have a video of the same trial same difficulty but only 5mins:
https://youtu.be/L_cyuhmmobQ
This spec is alittle more dmg focused but I run the risk of getting one shot by a single strong mob.. And since I can die more easily I can't watch tv while I play.
Could clear trial faster if I go full fledged dmg but the risk of dying will increase.
As long you just keep attacking with autoattacks(r1/left mouse) you're fine. Use anything else or try to switch a weapon and your 400hp are gone in just under a second. It's boring as hell and not rewarding at all. T5/6 is way quicker and you don't have 90% physical/electrical/ice immun enemies.
Dunno why but every run on T7 I did every single mob was physical immune and on top of that either ice/electrical immune which just takes an eternity instead of like ~20-30 seconds on T5/6.(+40sec loading screen afterwards -.-)
Even with 2,5k dps weapons and 400hp/80% absorb/10%ll T7 is just not worth it all. It takes too long and you can die from a single jump near you of a Talon/Juggernaut with 400+100hp(500hp). ^^
Worst thing is as I said before you can't afford to weapon switch or use anything else than stupidly spamming your auto attack or otherwise you insta die.
It's a balance between speed and safety. Both your runs are extremely "safe" and slow. Maybe incorporate shadow fury into it and you won't need to stack crazy damage resist.
Thanks for the nice summary. I want to be sure not to die. I always play with safety 1st mentality since I HATE dying. I'm a little predispositioned since most game discourage dying with penalties.
You are right about shadow fury, its noob not to keep using it over n over but I just don't feel like it.
In anycase, personal style aside I think we can see that playing at insanity 7 can be quite safe i.e. you can spec so that you can't be one-shot and you can watch tv while you play.
Thats the beauty of loot oriented games, promoting different playstyles.
Well, that mean its not easy afterall? Except the difficulty didn't come in a way you consider typical or acceptable. I made the video just to make a point that you can make it so easy that its hard to die rather than as a fast way to farm orbs.
Mathematically speaking, Insanity 7 is 2.55 times harder than Insanity 4. But their respective orb gaine are 57 vs 42 respectively. So, only 1.35 times more for insanity 7. I'm sure if you do simple and compare you can find the easiest and fastest way to farm orbs.
30seconds trail run at Insanity 6 would be interesting to watch you should share a video or something I suppose. Unless if you're one of the guys who cheated, then I guess there's nth fun to watch.
Yeah.. The point of the discussion to be honest. If you spec the way I did, Insanity 7 can be REALLY safe. Basically impossible to get killed in one jump by Talon/Jugg. Don't even need 400 Hp. I only had 150 Hp.
But you will clear trials REALLY slow as well. So theres a trade-off
