Loading times

I was experiencing really slow loading times. I sold all my gems in the shop and now I've done it twice, I firmly believe the amount of gems you hold has a direct impact on loading times. This is particularly true on the trials section of the game.............try it for yourself and let me know the results.

If you do find yourself with slow loading times and you have quite a lot of gems, then please give it a go. I'm very interested to see if this is happening to someone else.

I was thinking this is the case as well. I noticed hitting checkpoints seemed faster when I first started on the PS4 version than now. Those delays on console suck so much. Every checkpoint you pass, it's like "WAIT.....Ok, go."

Yes I agree, checkpoints were slower on reflection. All good now though. Have you reduced your gem bank?

now that you've mentioned it, I have experienced similar long loading times whenever I have an excessive amount of junk gems

not exactly, as the main reason why i'm ONLY saving the orange-rarity gems for the Weapon/Elemental/Armor/Power Upgrades, so I can get the best possible results when it comes to crafting them at the forge.

Hence the reason why my weapons dishes out an extreme amount of damage

I see. On the subject of upgrading, is there a way of determining the outcome of 3 gems spliced? I know the elemental upgrades give the same result but the others are impossible to predict (IMHO). My best weapon.......Jigoku DPS 2950.7 with 188.9 damage. Ice elemental with high damage and critical chance, soul of blowup level 224 and embedded critical bonus/chance. How does this compare to any of your big hitters?

unfortunately there's no way to determine the outcome of the gem crafting results.

as for the Jigoku, i'd replace that Ice Elemental gem with a good high-level Dual Wield gem (once you stock up on Fire Mode gems first), and you'll see the DPS get a massive damage increase.

this is why my dual-Jigokus deal over 9000DPS whenever I equip the Marksman Soul medallion, and purifying the gems of any negative effects also gave them a massive damage upgrade.

Wow, 9000 DPS......... that's incredible. I'll be looking at Dual Wield for that then. I need to rebuild my gem arsenal first as I've just cleaned them all out due to slow loading (re:- initial post). Thanks for the advice
