Perhaps your problem with G-Sync is your frame rate is outside the displays variable refresh range.
Or allow the screen tearing, set your refresh rate as high as you can. The higher the refresh rate the less noticeable the screen tearing. Screen tearing is atrocious at low display refresh rates such as 60 hz.
I've tried capping the frame rate at 59.942 and 59 and I've tried v-sync, triple buffering and all of that. It's just not wanting to cooperate.
Wife's PC said it was full screen when it was in window full screen. Switching back and forth fixed issue.
i have 144hz g-sync but for g-sync to work i gotta cap fps @ 142
try 57-58 see if that works.
I'll give this a try
