it worked in "Wolfenstein" and "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon", why not add it in "Shadow Warrior 2"
technically this game has stealth-based kills, when using (and abusing) Vanish and using a charged melee hit to kill the enemy
and considereng you can go invisible and just walk up to some elite masters and take them out....I dont really see it working out tbh
well the Takedowns would work, but with a cost though. and like you just said, it'll only work on human-sized enemies.
EDIT:
Not to mention, some of these sh*theaded enemies deserves it anyway!!!!
It would really make stealth a viable approach instead of basically just being invisible in and out if combat.
Maybe the location of where you swing could also act as a way to balance things ; e.g. Cutting a d.o.l.l. In the legs stops her from doing the spinning attack for a limited time, but doing a stealth take down does far more damage and the effect asts longer. I found see this being used to hit enemies in the Achilles tendon, effectively stopping a Talon from jumping on top of you for a limited time,.
I also would like to see the shooting take a few pointers from Wolfenstein:
- armor piercing upgrades that don't go through the enemy, but have very high, built in enemy weakness to physical damge
- shots to limbs can slow down their ability to attack/reduce famage (arms) , move and jump (knee caps), or pull the trigger (hands). Ubersoldaten could have their arms blown off, and taking that a step further would reward different shot placement.
- make silencers actually have some sort of effect on enemies noticing Wang.
-explosives should be far more devastating.
- additional type of shotgun alt fire gem that lowers the cone to be more concentrated and do far more damage to a smaller target.
- skill to increase damage aiming down sights.
- lastly, I'd love to see a bullet leech gem. Doing damage or on kill could grant you extra ammo so you could keep shooting.
