Suggestions about current best weapons?

Whats are and which gem i have to put in?

depends on your playstyle(i finished the game so i have certain weapons from endgame)
in general i try to have 2 of every kind of elemental on my weapons atleast 1 of all on my melee
i use 4 melee weapons
ghidorah:because the attack are decently fast and with elemental effects like electric that stun it is really powerfull (with the right gem combination )
ryuken:because it has a chance to refill my furry (for the gems i just put dmg and crit on it
blizzard:this weapon already has ice effect so i go for crit on this one
blad of exile :same as ryuken

i use 4 guns(gems and elemental on guns are now more of a preferen like attack speed etc )
-plasmoid (asault rifle):i dual wield this trough a special amulet (heavy metal amulet )
-cerberus (shotgun) : i use this because of the 3 barrel and extra crit chance (multishot gem on this shotgun is a must because it will activate the gun pasive more )
-agent of chaos(heavy assault rifle) (because of the high fire rate ) put some crit chance on this with some other high level gems and this gun will be a pain in the ass for demons
-wyrms breath:(because of the vanish cast )not really have a gem preference for this one


this is what i use after you play alot of time you will figure out a playstyle for the moment you can copy mine a bit

^like that guy said, i dont think there is such thing call the best weapon. However there is a weapon that is the most suitable for your play style.
here are some suggestions
- gauss riffles ( you can use both raijin + spingchester since they use different kinds of ammo) and tons of fire rate and crit ( with some resist and life drain if you can afford) < i used this to spam trials xD > <exhausting because i had to dash and jump continuously>
- ryuken + a lot of resist + life drain + crit ofc for the lazy ass want to stay still and spinning around ( ryuken has 100% chance cast chi blast so you wont be overwhelmed by number, it will get better if you combine with ice or electric effect but there will be a lot of trouble with immunity and instant kill by large demons jumping into your head) < it's not easy to build btw >
- infinite shadow fury with jigoku < i have never tried this but jigoku is easy to build as hell >

I haven't yet unlocked both ryuken and jigoku but i will remember them ^^'

My most used weapon is Arm of Orochi slotted with Electric. As long as enemies aren't immune to electricity, it simply tears through large groups since it has that piercing force slash that doesn't cost ammunition. With Electric on Arm of Orochi you have a high chance of electrocuting at least some of the enemies, which makes them unable to fight back, cutting down on the amount of damage comming your way.

For the rest of my melee weapons, Blizzard is Ice, Blade of Exile is Toxic, Nobitsura Ka-Ge is Fire and Ryuken is Physical.

It may not be the best, but the setup works for me.

my most used melee weapons are the Blade-of-Exile w/Electric (and what better way to get free Vanish while stunning enemies at the same time), the Shredders w/Toxic, the Nobitsura Kage w/Fire & Crit-chance-damage, while the Ryuken & Arm-of-Orochi are my 2 main raw damage weapons.
