embedding a gem?

so it said u unlock a 4th gem slot but i see the word "embed", so is the gem stuck in the weapon forever? can i replace the old one by destorying it? or do u have to pay to remove it?

I think you can replace it but will have to pay high costs again.

Exactly so — you can replace the old one by destroying it, and paying orbs for new insertion.
