New/Resume Game. Check settings on right. Invite via Steam.

Both players must of at least passed the tutorial. (As soon as you recover you car from the crash and arrive at Memushi Heka's place.)

you sure can, it functions just like single player just with another player. Only two things to be aware of.

#1 it will raise the HP and difficulty of the game somewhat
#2 if you lose network connectivity you will drop ut of the game back to the main menu (however it will save progress as of the last save *teleport or area load*)

Otherwise it will play just like singleplayer just with your friend along.
