It's pretty stupid that the developers naver cared about that. The drop for Masamune Orbs should be increased or at least let all enemies drop it on Insanity +2~+7. Gems Crafting should be more accurate like if you combine 3 with the same abilities, you get exactly the same abilities as result.
exactly!!! and to prove my point.....

any questions???
Thanks!
just a big fan of the game dude, that's all
We gave you the facts, no reason to insult someone. Especially when Steam reports you have more playtime the past two weeks than he does.
Perhaps!? It's definitely annoying at a point of most of the players that have higher level gems and maxed weapons have cheated to get it.
Each weapon cost around 10k masamune orbs to max out. You get 57 in 3 minutes, counting killing the Lord of War, respawning and fighting it again. That's 8 hours to max out a single weapon.
The randomness of the gem crafting is even worse, 99.9% of the time you get elemental resist or something like that. And if you get something bad you're forced to close the game and reopen it again thanks to the annoying auto-save that cannot be turned off.
So yeah, it's not "perhaps" its definitely annoying.
But nice swing and miss at my 16 hours in 2 weeks. I can tell you're good at this.
I don't find it annoying, so the correct analysis is 'perhaps'. Actually, I find it kind of fun. A simple 10 minute diversion from the game, where you can relax a little and have some gambling fun.
I also doubt you have any evidence to support your claim that most higher level gems were cheated. Mr. Mister Torgue Flexington, clearly, has invested enough time into the game to have powerful gems. I have 180 hours and I already have 200 level gems.
Yea, the orbs are a grind, best to do story missions on insanity 7 where you get something like 112, but they're inconsequential and simply there for people that like to grind. At 180 hours, I'm already so powerful from my gems, that I solo insanity 7 with 4 player coop set, just to beef up the enemies so they don't die in one hit. I'm already soloing it on the hardest the game can get and I don't have any weapons even half upgraded from orbs. I see no reason to get even more powerful, so now I mess around with different builds and weaker weapons.
I think one of the faults of Shadow Warrior 2 is that they didn't level cap the gems because of how powerful they can get.
Ya know, friend, you asked a question and we politely answered. Then you and Oda had to get all toxic. You're typical internet mediocrity.
Steam clearly shows your total playtime in the past 2 weeks is more than Torgue's. You're the one that assumed I compared just the playtime of Shadow Warrior 2.
Thanks.
especially since I have close to 1700 Hours invested in the game, and the tactic I used for saving ONLY the orange-colored gems that drop from dead enemies or looted from crates is what allowed me to craft some rather powerful gems
if you mean selling off the Yellow and Blue-rarity gems, yes. because crafting gems drains alot of your money, and you'll want to sell the blue and yellow gems to gain the extra cash to be put towards crafting.
besides, the only Blue-rarity gems that are even worth anything, are ones that boosts Base Damage/Crit-Chance/Crit-Damage which can be put into the Ryuken (which takes blue-rarity gems anyway)
There are 71 weapons. 8 hours per weapon only farming Masamune orbs is 568 hours. Lots of people showing off their setups have all weapons maxed out and some have 4 milion Masamune orb. I thinks that's enought proof they're cheating.
