What is "Miss rate"?
I have seen no official or confirmed information on what a weapons "miss rate" actually is.

1) Is it some kind of RPG-esque thing where you have a chance of missing despite hitting?=

2) Is it the "bullet spread", as it is called in all other games on the planet?

3) If it is the bullet spread, can it be controlled by controlling recoil? (Or is recoil constant in the game, meaning it can't be controlled... which is suggestd by 2)

4) Is it something else?

Read it, thanks... althoiugh nothing in there is actually confirmed: Even if it works like that and rolls dice, what does it roll? 1d20? How does it calculate? The percentages make no sense...

Miss rate is bullet spread. If you put bulletspread focused gems into your weapons, you'll notice your crosshair shrink. That is to indicate the weapon cone of fire is lesser so it's more accurate

^this

I put at least 2 very high-level Miss Rate/Crit-Chance/Crit-Damage onto my dual-wielded Explosive Jigokus, making them ridiculously accurate (which is good for shooting down Floater Drones without zooming-in).

not to mention, shooting an enemy's feet is a great way to regain Shadow Fury.

Makes sense now why the shotgun cone went from wide to small because I've see guns randomly miss shots entirely if it's in the negative.
