Game wont start

When i start the game it crashes consistently after initial animation pass. It just stops working without any specific error.

I tried checking files - didn't help, reinstall - didn't help.

Does anyone have any idea what should i do to fix this?

I have the same issue. Intel i7, 16GB Ram, 256 Samsung SSD, NVidia GTX 980, Windows 10.
Any ideas???

My PC is close to yours. Biggest difference is GFX (Nvidia Quadro) and Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

No idea what is going on. Specially because it worked long enough to not be able to get refund.

Got this too. system.log says CRITICAL ERROR: Exception history: Engine::openDisplay<-Game::initialize<-Experience112::initialize<-Unhandled exception !

I too am having these issues. Game starts first in windowed, then it goes fullscreen where a poor resolution Microid sequence plays out. After it finishes the game immediately crashes. With the same system.log of
CRITICAL ERROR: Exception history: Engine::openDisplay<-Game::initialize<-Experience112::initialize<-Unhandled exception !
I've tried editing the resolution and changing fullscreen=true to fullscreen=false, but it's not working. Anybody out there with suggestions?

This has been broken since the release of the game but nobody cares to fix it.
Are you by any chance using the German or French version? The Englisch version had been working in the psat, teh aformentioned versions were always broken. Yeah, steam QC at its bestm I would say.

No i was using English version. Still no luck with game running though :(

I had the same problem. But after struggling for three hours, I got it to work. To cut the long story short the only way I found to make it to work was to download a cracked version and use it on top of the Steam installation. There are two versions of the crack, the French and the German, Avast didn't like the former so I used the latter and so far so good. From game copy something.

Okay I got it to work.
Here's what I did:

I opened the Game Files and edited the "experience112.ini", putting my Screen res at the "height" and "width" values as well as changing the "shadow" value to "1".
Also I put the "experience112.exe" in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP2, disabling Visual Themes, Desktop composition, and scaling on high DPI settimgs.

Afterwards the Game started without a hitch.

Edit: Almost forgot... also start as Aministrator

I confirm , I had the crash immediately when launching.
Edit the experience112.ini file and write manually for my 27" screen :
width=1920
height=1080
fullscreen=true

No need to launch in admministratior mode for me.
Windows 7 X64 - Gtx 960
