Monster Truck Destruction Bug Fixes
Hi Everyone,

Thanks for supporting Monster Truck Destruction by purchasing the game on Steam. We completely understand the recent reports regarding controls, lag and so on. The developers have been working hard to produce an update and have delivered on this today.

If you restart your Steam client, the update will commence automatically. A bug fix log can be found in the new announcement we have just posted, please take a look there for a complete list of features that have been updated in this patch.

If you continue to experience issues, please let us know in the comments here, we are open to your suggestions to make improvements on the game.

Thanks again for your support.

- James

Hi Nick,
Are you entering drag races? I have found that taking part in championships yields easier wins for a while, you may not reach the finals at first but you are more likely to get a good sum of cash from entering. You can save the cash to spend on much better upgrades.
Some players tend to take a different approach, that's how I play the game however. :)

Well, controls sort of work, but on my xbox 360 the deadzone/sensativity seems WAY off. Like the brake and throttle for instance, the first half of trigger travel does essentially nothing, and 80% of the power comes in like the last mm of trigger travel. Steering feels way overdamped/disconnected as well. A for efford, D- for implementation.

Hi,
We're looking into this now, thanks for the suggestions. I have forwarded this information onto the developer.

Game screen occasionally freezes, but the background music and all controls still function.

That's very strange, could you reach out to us at support@mergegames.com. If you can get your dxdiag file for us, it'll help identify possible causes. If you need to know how to get your dxdiag report, you can just type "how to dxdiag" into google :)

Ok, I've run into a strange issue, it seems like quitting the game while using a lower resolution causes it to start becoming blurry when you restart the game afterwards and it gets worse with subsequent activations of the game.

Also, track 23 is rather strange it as seems to have the times listed flipped (having the oppoent's time for you and the other way around, making it look like you've lost when you haven't).

James, this game has improved vastly since this update. Thanks to you and your team for making this work on PC. If you're still looking for input, freestyle is incredibly hard to win. I'm kicking ass in racing, however. I feel like the physics engine for this game needs to be further fine-tuned with a controller. I'm using an XBox 360 controller for windows, and it's pretty much all or nothing with steering/braking/acceleration, I have to REALLY feather the controls to make the truck work. The controller sensitivity option helps a little - - I also have a Logitech G27 if you'd like some testing done. Like I've said before I was an avid freelance editor of Monster Truck Madness 1 & 2 . This game is absolutlely great, and I hope it continues to improve.

Hi, thanks for the awesome feedback! We'll take a look at the controls again, I think you may be right about the degrees of sensitivity.
If you get your G27 working with the game, that would be great to know! :)
