Sadly we have no plans to update Warlock for Steam. The game was built in an old version of Unity and most of the coding team are no longer with Tin Man Games. This means that it would likely be very costly as updating the game to the latest version of Unity would probably break a lot of systems and any new programmers would need to familiarise themselves with the codebase. As the game is now well over six years old, sales these days are a lot smaller than they used to be and wouldn't make enough money to cover costs.
You mentioned that the game updated on your deck. Not sure what the update was on your system as we've not updated the game for a number of years.
I don't know why the download update appeared on my Steam Deck and I don't know why the game performed differently from the last time I had checked it.
I suppose it could have something to do with Proton being updated to a newer version or something.
Very strange.
But thanks for following up!
