maze level 2 - wizards at table?

Hi

i keep running into the wizards at the table, you're given several options to respond to them and I haven't found anything online or here about how to respond. I've tried a couple times and, since it's so late in the game, I really don't want to waste any more playthroughs. Anyone have the options listed out?

I've tried to investigate the table two times.
The tall bottle lead to a fight with two monster (and an achievement).
One of the other two (I forgot which one) lead to a loss of Luck

And the two other options before examining the table lead to death (examining the chasm and taking the stairs)

Is there a “good” option or is it like the genie?

sqare bottle restores 10 stamina, tall bottle is two slime worms(and an achievement) and the round bottle shreds your luck
