FoC non-windowed mode?
I get FoC to run by adding the "windowed" setting to the startup option. Is there a way to turn that off? To run in non-windowed mode? I have reset the resolution within FoC, but regardless of what I do, non-windowed mode does not work.

Any help is appreciated!

If you are on steam then just use the launch option.

I appreciate your help. The problem I'm having is from attemping to run FoC with a mod. So in my startup options, I've added:

sweaw windowed MODPATH=Mods\UEAW_v4

I can get it to run that way, but as soon as I remove the windowed mode, it completely destroys the video output. (Exactly like it was whan I originally installed SWEAW Gold). So, it's kind of a catch-22, either I run without the mod in non-windowed mode, or with the mod in windowed mode. Cannot accomplish both. Tried changing "windowed" to "non-windowed" in the startup options - didn't help.

Did you try "fullscreen" instead of "non-windowed"?

Tried fullscreen, tried:
sweaw fullscreen 1920 x 1200 MODPATH=Mods\UEAW_v4
too.
The video keeps reverting. It's almost like it won't accept a second parameter in the Launch Option.

I figured it out! There is a key within the registry that controls the refresh rate of your monitor. Mine was set at 75 and I could not change it within FoC. So I edited the key back to 59 and it works perfectly - even with mods, and NO windowed mode needed.

Reigstry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Petroglyph\StarWars FOC\Profiles\Profile0\Player

Key to edit:
ScreenRefresh

(change from 75 to whatever is best for your monitor)

Thanks to JockGit for the tip!

Thank you so much! This was driving me mad, every time i tried launching the game full screen it would minimize. Followed your advice and changed the refresh rate in the regisrtry but that alone didn't solve my problem. Then i also changed the screen resolution settings to be the same as my desktop and all is now well with the world :)
