How to play multiplayer through Hamachi or Game ranger?
So the multiplayer freezes every time me and my friend goes on it, we've tried every patch possible to make it work and none of them work, we've also tried different ways of making hamachi and game ranger work but they still just don't work. Can you guys give us a step by step way of making the multiplayer work for us?

We got multiplayer to not freeze but we can't we find each other games? What do?

You may not be in the same server. Go to the connection options and verify that you are both connecting to the same country server. Also, you could be in a different lobby... there are like 5 of them.

Team Match, Empire, Rebellion... etc.

How did you get it not to freeze?? iv been having this issue for a while (it started after i took a break from it). I cant seem to fix it

Look around on the steam forums, someone posted an answer on here, I forgot what it was though.

Deleting "gameconstants.xml" from your xml folder located in corruption/data/xml. However, even though it logically should not, it gives you a version mismatch with everyone... I may have a solution for that later today.

Try it, it worked for me after that fix, all you gotta do is disable something in the multiplayer options, I think its called "NAT" or something, you need to disable it SOMETIMES, other times it will work regardless.

I have a problem like that with GameRanger I Host , Start the game, and my friend only can see Waiting for host , any solutions? Thanks in advance!

Having the same issue, did you ever resolve your problem?


It's been a long time since I last played, so its hard to remember anything.

One thing we did is we messed around with the NAT settings in the options menu, I don't know what we did but I think it helped somehow.

You may have to keep looking.
