You could always go find kaelics meg extractor and use that to extract the graphics xml file from config.meg... or I guess you could go download the xml file directly and use it in your corruption/data ... assuming you are playing FoC. If not... then it would be Gamedata/data for EaW.
I have the same problem as Gr3atsaga.
and it still doesn't work do you have any more ideas how i can fix this ?
Well, you must open the xml file and change the resolution... did you do that?
( sorry for my bad english )
1. Click the search bar (or run) on the task bar and type "regedit"
WARNING: Follow these directions exactly because messing with the wrong thing in regedit can break your computer!
2. Click the folder under computer in regedit labeled "HK_CURRENT_USER"
3. Click the folder under "HK_CURRENT_USER" that is labeled "SOFTWARE"
4. Click the folder under "SOFTWARE" that is labeled "Petroglyph"
5. Click the folder under "Petroglyph" that is labeled "StarWars"
6. Click the folder under "StarWars" that is labeled "Profiles"
7. Click the folder under "Profiles" that is labeled "Profile0"
8. Click the folder under "Profile0" that is labeled "Player"
You should now see a list to the right of all the folders containing what appears to be a bunch of files.
9. Scroll down the list until you see a file (registry key) labeled ScreenRefresh and double click it.
10. The right towards the bottom of the box that popped up should have 2 options one that says hexadecimal and the other decimal. Click the decimal option.
11. Change the value data to 60 and click ok.
12. You should be able to launch the game in fullscreen mode and change the resolution. You can change the resolution in the same way you changed refresh rate, but if you're not comfortable doing that I would suggest just launching the game.
This solution worked for me and was annoying to find but I don't like playing games in windowed mode. Hopefully this solution will help you guys out if you don't want to play windowed.
