Ranks of galactic conquest
What are they? And how to achieve 100/100/100 at the end?

After years of this question being unanswered i believe i finally have an idea of how it's done. conquest and kill seem to be 100 more often than not, although i've had times years ago where i may score something aside from that in the 80-95 region..

I did the original 35 planet Empire at War GC in roughly 20 galactic days. Probes discovered Mon Mothma was at Naboo on day 11 Naboo was on the front lines and so during the setup of the blockade on day 16 I only lost one tartan, and during the planetary invasion on 20ish i only lost a pair of scout troopers who rode into an ambush (one unit by game standards), other units took damage but no squads were completely destroyed (i.e 2 of the 4 ATST or 2-4 of the 9 stormtroopers). I still got a mere 97/100/100 and rank of moff. so I can only guess that military efficiency is how much of your army is destroyed, and kill/conquest would be how lopsided the battles are, how quick you win, how many planets you gain, money, does the enemy retreat successfully, ect. a bunch of things every player does right and take for granted and so we can't figure out what it is.

I found all of the ranks for EAW listed here:

I've only ever been able to achieve Grand Moff or Grand Admiral (98 or 99/100 is my highest). Not sure how the scoring works, other than what legodude124 described previously.

100/100/100 requires 0 losses of non garrison units in both space and on land (turrets dont count towards losses luckily, but buildings and space stations do), and a time limit of 1.5 days per planet on the GC. If you lose a single unit it drops into the 90-99 range and from then on its based on units you kill/units lost by cost (not including garrisons). SInce the AI "builds" (gets free ships per turn) a ton of weak stuff, you tend to get 80+ by even being remotely competent. For time its just based on how fast you win.

Edit wow that was a necro, ya got me.

Just chiming in since my completion of a perfect galactic conquest [100 x 3] with Zann only got me the 'Moff' rank, which is the 4th highest on the Answers page linked. This rank was also given for my Empire playthrough in both base and FoC, though Efficiency was 99 each time. Additionally, My Rebellion conquest in FoC earned 'High General' for 98 Efficiency. That rank was also the 4th highest for their faction. Have the top 3 been removed, or are their yet other factors that earn the highest ranks?

You can only get Grand Moff if you do a perfect gal conquest starting in tech 1. Emperor rank is only for a perfect in Campaign (far harder to do than GC). Im not sure what other rank you are talking about, as I thought Emperor was 1, Grand Moff was 2, and Moff was 3. Then again I never noticed each faction apparently has its own titles in game, so who knows.

Thanks chaos, that makes sense. Rebel and Zann GCs were started at tech 2. The 3rd highest rank is apparently Grand Admiral Grand Moff for Empire/Zann and Senator for Rebels.
Edit: noticed I didn't address the actual 2nd ranks, sorry: Grand Admiral for Empire/Zann, Governor General for Rebels. They may also be exclusive to campaign.

So I completed a 100x3 with Zann on Heart of the Maw GC, Normal, Tech 1. Resulting rank: 'Moff'. I think this confirms that the game's highest 3 ranks are at least barred from Galactic Conquest: Emperor, Grand Admiral and Grand Moff for Empire/Zann; Supreme Chancellor, Governor General and Senator for Rebels.

Yet another update as I found the time to do a perfect, normal Empire campaign play through in the base game this month [i.e. 100% Military, Conquest and Kill Efficiency]. You probably guessed the resulting rank... 'Moff'. That leads me to conclude that the top 3 ranks present in the list linked by ZetaFox either never existed, were removed in later updates for in-universe/lore reasons, or they just got disconnected from the merit tracking system by accident. Personally I think Grand Admiral should have technically ranked lower than Moff, if they ever existed in the same list.
Since it's directly related to rank, I noticed that the base game's Death Star garrison ships are the only free units I've seen that are listed as casualties when lost on the post-tactical losses summary screen, and consequently this does in fact bring down the player's military efficiency merit.
