FoC Patch v1.1 problems
I have problems with downloading the Force of corruption patch v1.1 as it keeps saying "Star wars Empire at war forces of corruption not found. Please reinstall the game from the original CD-ROM and try again." I have the steam Gold edition so don't have a CD-ROM and I have tried to reinstall the game multiple times, It does work when the game is loaded up so i the game is installed right. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't try to install that patch, the Steam version is up to date.

Why are you trying to install this patch? The Steam version already has it. Is it perhaps compatiblitlity issues with someone else? Btw, 1.1 is actually version 1.01 (yeah, weird)

Ok didn't know that thanks, I'm also having a problem with installing the ultimate empire at war mod as it says that I need the patch which is why i have been tring to install it. Do you know what could be the problem with installing it.

UEAW I believe has always had that problem with the Steam version, simply because it specifically looks for the game installed in the retail location. Perhaps editing the registry item associated with foc install path to retail location might allow the mod to be installed - retail location varies with 32-bit vs. 64-bit, however it is located in just about the same location.

C://Program Files (or Program Files x86)/LucasArts/Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption

If your trying to instal USWEAW mod you have to specify the FOC path it automatically selects the right steam file you just have to select the folder in the browser

just click the brows and hit the FOC folder and it should install and work. It did for me lol no hacks necessary

SneakyP,,, where you able to get UEAW working>?
~~I have not becaus ethe installer wants the 1.1 patch and it can't locate it in steam..
*Maybe there's a UEAW without the launcher we can drop into the "mods" folder.
~I'll look into it.. Worst case scenerio there's always the physical game discs which i saved & i assume yyou did too...
