Hello! earlier today I had a problem and when I searched it up, a lot of people running windows 8 had the same problem. The problem was, when trying to run the game, an error would occur saying the game couldn't be ran on the operating system and to upgrade to windows 2000 or better. the error was something on the lines of that. After finding no help, I found the fix.

You will need to install 2 patches.

The original EAW works fine on Windows 8 but FOC started giving problems for me. Once i looked up the error, A LOT of people had the same problem. It seems like its a problem only FOC has but the 2 patches helped resolve my issue.
