crashing after 20 minutes

game crashes after about 20-30 minutes in battle. i've tried to fix it by using different compatibility modes but cant seem to get it to run properly can someone please help me. i put over 1000 hours into this as a kid and would like to get it running so my son can play a good star wars game

64bit version vs 32bit version... or try and run validation test... if all else fails try a custom map out

You play the standard game or with mods? some mods use to crash - unfortunately in worst moments ;) But you can replay that battle after restart: just load the auto save :)

i played/play the standard game. my son was able to get it working thou. apparently if you turn off compatibility mode the game works fine you just need the same settings that are turned on with compatibility mode on. it still crashes from time to time but it takes a few hours now

tuning off compatability mode helped out a bunch there are a few other things you can do there is a common issues guide for it in the guide section at the top of page
