Best mod 2025?

I looked at the mods for Empire at War and there are plenty.

What is the coolest and most stable mod for you?

I like the Clone Wars era.

Hey there, I'm right there with you, however if you go to the workshops tab up top you can see the best rated, Im about to test fall of the republic.

1. Fall of the Republic for Clone Wars Era. The new Awakening of the Clone Wars has some new gameplay elements I like, but it's kinda buggy. I've seen the AI get stuck in the Galactic map and I've lost my save in it twice now so I'm waiting for updates.

2. Thrawns Revenge is my go-to for New Republic vs Empire or Empire vs other Empire factions. I'm currently halfway thru finishing all the Galactic Conquest maps as I listen to the audio books.

3. Just starting to try it out, but I'm finding Age of Legends has fun Pirates faction and has Mandalorians faction too if you think that's cool. It has a lot of GC maps.

4. Rise of the Mandalorians is also a very good one for playing Mandos too! I finished a GC in that one.

Alliance at war is pretty decent if you want a closer experience to the original game.

Thrawn's revenge should be mandatory.

I don't recommend Thrawn's Revenge, it stole over 2k hours of my life and counting.

Revan's Revenge. FOTR, TR, AOTCW, AOTR.

My favorite is Revan's Revenge.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a polished experience with a lot of content and good scale, EAWX Thrawn's Revenge is a good starting point, with EAWX Fall of the republic being more limited but just as polished. If you want the best gameplay, Awakening Of The Rebellion is the best by far, but is also often more difficult to adjust to. Awakening of the Clone wars is good as well but needs some ironing out as it has just released. If you're looking for a cultured, semi-realistic but dated interpretation, Phoenix Rising.

all the eawx mods are the easiest to start with and play with, since the mod's difficulty comes from the 6 separate ai difficulty levels
mods like remake and awakening of the rebellion have a bigger focus on the galactic level, specifically the economy part and these mods have a slower playstyle and awakening of the rebellion is probably one of the hardest mods out there
