Shader and Water Slider Issue

Hello everyone!
Does anybody know how to set shader and water settings to maximum? There is a problem in the game it won't allow me to do it. The graphics look terrible with minimum shader and water...

Hi. Having the same problem. Quick internet search and it looks like it is a common issue with certain hardware. This person found a solution that worked for them:

No idea where to look for the file so if anyone else could throw some light on this would be much apreciated.

FYI running I-core 3, HD4000.

I had the same problem on Core i7-3610QM, HD 4000

Go to C/windows/regedit and find [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Petroglyph\StarWars\Profiles\Profile0\Player]

apply these changes:

"ShaderDetail"=dword:3
"WaterDetail"=dword:2

Thanks that seems to have done the trick. Just looks to have turned down AA and textures now lol.

Easy way to find HKEY_CURRENT_USER, which is located on regedit:

Use method 2. Same applies to Windows 7 operating system, or just use Windows search and type regedit. I hope this helps.

I would just change "ShaderDetail"=dword:3 and "WaterDetail"=dword:2, and leave the rest setting unchanged.
