Help with Fleet Commanders
Can anyone tell me how to use a Fleet Commander?
When I pay online or against the PC I see the Fleet Commander has been attatched to a capital ship, but I cant figure out how to accomplish that.

use officer academy on ground n under space tab off that planet he will appear. he goes to strongest/biggest ship in that fleet

Fleet Commanders just offer a bonus, which is active as long as they're alive. And typically they ride in the strongest ship.
All you have to do is just have them in the fleet, the game will assign him to a deployed ship automatically at the start of battle.

And as far as I know, you don't have to worry about the fleet commander affecting the battlefield's population cap. I think he's considered a freebie.

Fleet commanders just give you stat buffs in space, ditto for land commanders. Also, buffs don't stack. Anyway, how did you manage to do online? I tried and it didn't work.
