I actually had the most exciting game EVER, at least for me. They pushed me back on to Courscant, and I fought a very close land battle there after they destroyed my level 4 battlestation in a very close fight. After that I regarrisoned the place, along with colonel Veers, built all mining operations there except for 2 hypervelocity cannons (I sold back the underlying factories after the HV Cannons were built), and just waited turn after turn while the rebels controlled my space but didn't land. While they fought the Zann Consortium, eventually I just kept buying more and more tech getting FREE heroes! They were strong enough to secure the space above me (barely) with a level 3 Battelstation, and then the rebels were smart enough to attack me just before I built (99% complete) my level 5 battlestation. But with Gov Tarkin, the Admiral, Captain Piett, a level 4 BS constantly spawning new ships and the HV Cannon destroying a ship every time it figured, the rebels just could not win. When I got the level 5 station, they kept throwing themselves at me turn after turn but just wouldn't learn it was hopeless. Then began a whole new challenging round of trying to figure out how to get off Courascant and reexpand, and now, I'm coming back baby!
To me, anyway, that's the real fun of these games. Turning around hopeless tactical battles and strategic scenarios...
