Multiplayer Question

I owned this game some time ago and had a question for you guys. Can you play the multiplay campaign with more than 2 people? I've been wanting to buy this for all my friends so we can play it, but i want it to be at least 4 player multiplayer campaing mode

You can only play 1v1v1 in multiplayer campaign (galactic conquest). Three players will have to choose the faction in which they want to play as and aim to conquer the other players. If you'd like, and the players are willing, you may make acts of diplomacy. You can choose to help each other out or team up against another player or AI. Ultimately, a player has to conquer the galaxy, making diplomacy unnecessary but not yet futile. I've had fun diplomacy over a galactic conquest game, but, in the end my partner blew up my Death Star. Diplomacy lasts as long as it's usefulness runs out. You can play with about 8 players in space and land skirmishes, though. In that, you can play all together against the AI or other people. Hope this helps.
