how do you beat the FIRST campaign mission

what the actual ♥♥♥♥.
am i stupid? when you have to send r2 down to get the sensor relay. the rebels cant fight the turret. you send r2 to take turret. they lose 50 percent hp because the turret shoots at them. you lose rebels fighting the tanks and soldiers that come at you. pull r2 back. the walkers literally chase them down to kill them. clear out the very first area. find out you cant heal r2 at all. move forward 5 feet see another turret that either kills r2 because you have NO OPTION but to charge him towards a turret that does absurd damage and your actual fighting units can barely damage all while constantly losing men you cant replace. if you do take the second turret over/out then left and right is more bs. i lost 5 times ina row on the stupid first mission and have no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ this game expects you to do.

how are you supposed to protect them if you cant heal them, you have to charge them into fire to take out turrets your soldiers can barely damage and have to repeat the same ♥♥♥♥ at least 5 times. i should not have to rage quit the beginning mission on a campaign on EASY difficulty. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

its the first campaign mission as rebels. the game only lets you take r2 and 3 squads of soldiers

There always reinforces available, if you sent units with R2.
