I was experimenting on both seing which one I wanted to put my large campaign on and I was wodering on te differences because I see a subtle change in AI in both games, and in FoC there is bunkers and other unusual things. Please post differences.

FoC mainly has the corruption mechanics of course, a few new units for the other factions, and you can pick what unit you want to first arrive during battles.

The bunkers in FoC replace the sandbag emplacements from EaW. Sandbags used to provide infantry defense bonuses and were indestructable, bunkers in FoC take all the damage instead of the units and can blow up.

The rebel AI seems to like raiding more and stack more heroes on the raids, but other than a few minor things the AI isn't much different.

A few skirmish maps were tweaked and the merc/pirate units you could buy in EaW were changed since FoC replaced most of the pirate/merc stuff with the Underworld.

Storyline wise I prefer default EaW, but the FoC galactic conquests will have more planets. FoC has better mods too, if that matters any.

FoC has a lot of new vehicles, bases, and planets which can enhance your experience. Be wary though, that FoC appears to be a lot more difficult than the original EaW.
