AI having problems

Sometimes, I like to boot up the game, set up a Skirmish match, and watch as the AI try to take each other out with little to no interference from myself. Recently, however, I've been having problems with AI on my team.

For example, today, I set myself up on a team with 2 colors of Imperial forces: blue and teal (I was tan). They only spawned Boba Fett, ran to some command posts, STAYED at a command post, started getting upgrades, and eventually got taken out, leaving their base undefended against the red and orange Rebels (whose AI was PERFECTLY FINE) and spawning NO ONE ELSE. Similar things have happened in space battles, whether I'm on one side or the other.

To put it simply, the AI on whatever side I'm on just dies on me and lets the other team dominate the battlefield. If anyone else has had similar experiences, let me know. I hope there's a way to fix this weird "AI laziness" bug.
