theres no way to fix this since the devs need to make a brand new engine (or something like that)
so i think there is nothing i can do.
but thrawn mod work perfectly fine.
Which is odd, since I played this game 2 years ago, too, and it ran smoothly back then.
I set my resolution to
1920x1080 50Hz
instead of the usual 60Hz
GC map seems smooth now, and I tested a battle on Felucia (AotR) and it was also smooth.
Still odd, since I know this game used to run excellent at 60Hz 2 years back with the same PC.
That was only a workaround crutch anyway. I found a solution that should help most people:
dgvoodoo
It's a graphics API wrapper that solves most issues with games from the early 2000's. Now I have my 80-90 FPS, but still a short stutter every 10 secs.
You are my hero!!! I've used dgvoodoo earlier, but could not even think, it can be SO USEFULL with this game!
I've been in pain with this problem for so long...
Thanks so much - You’re incredible!!!
