screen flickering
Just downloaded this game. Running Windows 10, and I'm using my dedicated nvidia graphics card. Whenever I try to run the game, it runs, but the screen is constantly flickering with black bars everywhere. The audio is fine. I can see enough to navigate menus and such, but the game is unplayable. I google searched my issues, and found nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Running it in windowed mode might fix it if you've not found something else that helps already.

Run it in Win95/98 compatibility mode.... fixed it for me. It used to get so slow as well.... this all went away using the Win95 compat mode.

Make sure your nVidia card drivers are up-to-date. Also make sure your chipset drivers are up-to-date (sometimes the GPU drivers will auto-update the chipset as well).

Old thread I know, but for me as well enabling VSync works.

Old Thread Note 2:
If you see that window mode works, try to recheck your resolution settings. In my case it picked 1920x1080 (25HZ). Which was wrong, since it should be 60HZ. Selecting that option fixed it then also in fulllscreen mode for me! (no need for compatibility mode or anything else in my case)
