I think your issue could actually be Republic at War. See, the problem with Republic at war is that it will install a few files in your actual game's data folder.. and even though both of you have it, those files for whatever reason cause some weird compatbility issues with other things. So, I would recommend doing fresh installations, and if you want to play RaW, keep seperate data folders for that mod (easy enough, just keep two copies of the FoC data folder, one for vanilla FoC and one that has the RaW files in it, which can be done by first making a copy of the data folder and then simply renaming your data folder once you have installed RaW to something like Data - RaW, and then rename the copy to just data. Then once you want to play RaW, rename data to something like data - vanilla, and the data - RaW to just data.
