Someone should make a 1 credit 1 second and infinite unit cap submod for EAW Remake
I know that this type of mod tends to make the game crash, but I think it would be really fun to play. I would do it myself but I actually lied and I wouldn't (plus I have no idea how to so I would mess it up).

First of all, I don't see too much use to those kind of submods. The AI would probably just roll right over you, it can perform actions way quicker than you in galactic, and skirmish would get old fast I think.

Second, It's really not that hard. You just have to look into the XML files, figure out where the unit cost/build time is controlled, and change it for each ship. I don't think there's a blanket setting, pretty sure it per unit. Then just change the faction pop limit. They say "infinite unit cap" but your PC would choke long before you reached that. I think it's probably just set to -1? I don't know, I don't use them so I've never looked at the files.

I'm surprised there isn't one already, with the absolute glut of this type of thing in the workshop.

It's easier to just edit the planet credit value in the XML. Only do it for a planet you know you'll start with for the faction you choose, otherwise the AI will get a load of credits too.

I don't think that would work for what he described. That sounds like it would just change the credit value of that planet, he wants build time and cost changed.

well if you have corporate companies with those mods, you could add lines that make them boost production by a high magnitude and thus keep the AI from benefiting
