How to increase global population Cap for all Factions in Galactic Conquest?
I'm playing the steam version of Empire at War: Forces of corruption and I always have a lot of fun, but when I play as the rebels I get to have a limit in how many units I can construct but when playing as the empire I never get something like that. I also modified my XML files so that I have a Higher population cap for space and land battles.

I'm looking for a variable in the XML files to see if there's a variable to control this. but I can't find anything related to it.

In my game the empire has a build capacity in galactic conquest of 344 while the rebels have a build capacity of merely 295, Can this be changed at all?

I think I know what you are talking about. If I am right it can be changed by conquering planets or building/upgrading space stations on your planets.

By files, yes.
Do you have any experience modding base game files?

If you do, here's some options to do: modify the planet's population value (in PLANETS.XML), mod the addition population capacity on space stations (could be modded for ground bases such as barracks, too) (in STARBASES.XML, I think for space stations), or make the population value 0 for all Rebel units (files such as SPACEUNITSCAPITAL.XML).

If you want to change how many units can be used in a space battle, you can modify the faction's space population value (in the FACTIONS.XML file).

If you have no experience modding files, you will need to use a MEGA file editor and edit the config.meg file in Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data
so can you actually tell us what we need to look for to increase regarding in the xml file? like what the specific line is?
