Help FOC crash

FoC crashes at launch with a D3D9 error pop up saying is a "generic Application error" If you know a fix please help EaW vanilla works just fine only FoC crashes

I don't know this bug or it's solution, but I always try running it as administrator

look at your video driver and see if it has the old dreitdraw program included in it as this game has a weird glitch in that if it cant find that program it gives D3D9 error this error which is it saying it cant find the dreitdraw files which have not been needed for games for yrs as they have no need for it if you dont find a really old game that needs it when you install it and the game should install it for you this normally fixes this error for example the old mechwarrior games both 3 and all of 4 require it to run and install it for you just make sure you get the R.G repack version ans it a complete installer that requires no input after selecting the place you want the game to go it auto puts the needed programs where they need to be

I'm not getting any crashes or errors, it just doesnt trigger the cutscene. That said, I AM using a mod, the absolute corruption one.
