Freezing up on windows 10

The game freezes up on windows 10. Is it because of how old the game is or something or is just because of windows 10 os ?

Most people here play on Win10 and have no issues. Your PC specs might be the problem if they are older/lower end.

I use windows 7 64 bit no problems on 1 but see windows 10 (bad software)

ya i seem to have the loading problems whenever i use single player mode and try to play as one of the factions

oh i had the game for a long time on dvd and still do but i decided to get it from steam instead but that was a mistake since a lot of people stopped playing the multiplayer version

I assume it is because of auto-saving that was broken on May 11th. User "The_Empire" commonly mentions how to turn off auto-saving.

windows can make it compatible if youy go to propertie and adjust how it is launched.
