awakening of the rebellion mod not loading saves
every save i try to load just crashes, i'm not starting again as i'm sure any saves i create will also not load. i have two saves for this game, both of them crash when i try to load them. Any ideas on how to fix this?

dont save while in battle, dont save while paused, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS exit the game via the main menu, dont close it via the X button or task manager, following these steps will ensure your saves wont become corrupted.

I do not see any relation between your answer and the problem. I always leave the game without return to the main menu. Why? because when you return to the main menu, the game creates a new autosave game and it takes many time.

Save paused has not any relation with the problem.

But, there is a true problem. At the same time, when you enter a new game, the autosave game is used, if you played before a game with other mod, you have many chances from a crash. Solution? remove the autosave when you load different mods or if you want play the original game.

I got part of this information asking to the developers when I told them about fix the savegames before, one year ago.

Well, just tried deleting the autosave, and my saves keep crashing.

You should ask to the developers from Aweaking of the Rebellion, perhaps the mod was not updated at some time or it is not very compatible with the 64bits. When savegames crashed, one of the problems can be a bug in the mod, probably one thing missing.

The solution from the author of the mod is funny for me because that are the type of things that I do many times without problems. But I would like if he was loading the game in a HDD, much more slow than SSD (solid state drive).
