Editing Star Destroyer
How would i be able to edit the Star Destroyer and change the weapons it currently has?

First of all you will need the MegEditor modtools.petrolution.net/tools/MegEditor and some program like Notepad++

Open the MedEditor and navigate to your Empire at War folder
then go to
Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data
Open the "config.meg" with the MegEditor

You will now see a list. Scroll down to
DATA\XML\SPACEUNITSCAPITAL
Extract it (to your desktop for example)
Then scroll up to
DATA\XML\HARDPOINTS.XML
Now it depends on wether you want to edit the game files themselves or if you want to add this as a mod. I will explain how to make it a mod.
Extract the
DATA\XML\HARDPOINTDATAFILES.XML

Open your windows explorer and navigate to your Empire at War Mods folder
Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods
If you don't have one create it yourself.

in the Mods folder create a folder and name it whatever you like. For my explanation I will call it "Star_Destroyer_Changes"
I don't know if it would work with spaces instead of _ but I would use the _s
In this "Star_Destroyer_Changes" folder create a folder "DATA" and in the "DATA" folder create a folder called "XML"

Copy the "SPACEUNITSCAPITAL.XML", "HARDPOINTS.XML" and the "HARDPOINTDATAFILES.XML" into the "Star_Destroyer_Changes" XML folder.

I think from now on it would be easier if you would do it yourself and test some things until you may or may not have accomplished your goal. But I would recommend that you create a new Hardpoints file. It doesn't matter what you call it you will just need to put the files name into the "HARDPOINTDATAFILES.XML"

For example if you want to name it "Stardestroyerhardpoints.xml" the "HARDPOINTDATAFILES.XML" now looking like this:

<?xml version="1.0" ?> <Hard_Point_Files> <File>HardPoints.xml</File> <File>CIN_HardPoints.xml</File> <File>HardPoints_Underworld.xml</File> </Hard_Point_Files>

Should now look like this;

<?xml version="1.0" ?> <Hard_Point_Files> <File>HardPoints.xml</File> <File>CIN_HardPoints.xml</File> <File>HardPoints_Underworld.xml</File> <File>Stardestroyerhardpoints.xml</File> </Hard_Point_Files>
Just don't forget to add this ".xml" because else it won't work.

Because this comment is much to long now I will just say for the end
Test it yourself that is how I got my knowledge of this. I didn't watch a tutorial. Do copy and paste and edit stuff. I hope I could help you until this point.
