The mod is still in your workshop folder. Find it, then copy the main folder (being the folder that contains all the files, not the workshop folder that contains the mod folder) and paste it into Forces of Corruption/Mods.
Then edit launch properties for the game and put this in - sweaw MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Remake
Be sure to rename the folder EAW-Remake.
Done. I have it working on my end.
Thanks!
This is one of the best mods for EAW (IMO) and I was bummed when it was removed.
Thanks again!
Savage where do i find the folder? I'm not computer savy at all so you'd make my year if you could help me.
Once everything is back to working as intended it might appear again.
So go download the older version or wait a bit. (And dont ask how along because that cant be known)
Honestly to me it sounds more like an ego thing, it's not like kerbal space program and theirs a dedicated program like ckan to manage and help install mods and their correct versions.
Inferior loading through steam. My opinion, don't be a douche and let the couple hundred people that even still play this to do it simply as possible. I mean, you would think that after all the hard work put into making the mod they'd actually want it available to their audience in a simple, easy way to get it out to the public.
