How can i add the retail version of EAW gold pack to steam

I have the "retail" version of the game and i want to add it to steam any help?

There are only a couple dozen "old" games with CD keys you can add to your steam library. Empire at war is unfortunately not one of them. The only way to connect EaW to your steam account is by buying a steam key.

Well, if you have the box and all, it might worth a try to take a photo of it with the CDs and the key, and email it to steam support asking them, if somehow they could add it to your library. Though if they can't your only option is to buy a steam key, either through steam or some CD key selling website, I would personally recommend waiting for the SW package ( http://store.steampowered.com/sub/66986/ ) to go on sale, that's what I did.

Edit: You could censor the CD key, if you want, I doubt they would need the full, but I see no reason to, since it useless anyway.

Or you could suport steam and just buy it. Wait for it to be on sale, the holiday sales are coming.

Odds are the steam winter sale starts on the 23rd, so in 3 days it'll probably go 75% again.
