EAW: FOC MOD Greenscreen background

So I have had mods installed for Empire at War: FOC for quite some time now. Recently when I started up a modded game, the main menu screen background was greened out. I can still make out models of the ships, and the options menu worked just fine, but the background to the space battle in the main menu was green like a green screen. I have uninstalled and installed the mods and game but to no avail. Its like this for every mod, but it runs fine on vanilla play.

From other discussions about something similar, it seems like deleting the mod's shaders folder fixes the issue.
