New Patch broke Map Editor, Help?

The new patch broke something and now Map Editor won't open up, I get the message:

"EAW Terrain Editor.eve - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Star Wars Empire at War/corruption/EaW Terrain Editor.exe."

I assumed it was just the desktop link that didin't work but it won't open when I go to it from the directory. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Quick update; Uninstalled & Reinstalled the map editor, No success, still not working.

Opps, We didn't include a build of the editor in the new patch. The new EXEs are compatible with the old maps, so you just need an old version of the game to run the old editor. Specifically I think it's looking for the PerceptionFunction.dll from the old game version.

So I have to downgrade my game everytime I want to open up the editor? Will there be a hotfix for the Editor?

bumping this thread, I'd like to solve this problem. Can anyone walk me through how to get the map editor working without downgrading to a older ver of the game? I'm not keen on the idea of having to constantly shuffle patches everytime I want to open a map editor or play the game.

PS: I tried to install an alternate version, from original cd version game, but i dont have "multiplayerspecialstructures" there... Why!?

well it looks like they might be pushing out a new patch to solve a plethora of problems, I can only pray that it includes a fix for the editor

FINALLY! I thought I was going crazy!
At least now I know that I'm not the only person with this issue.
I certainly hope the devs fix this, otherwise the implementation of Workshop would have been a waste (since most of the mods in Workshop were ones that people are porting from other sites).

I heard they're going to fix this issue, as well as some of the other bugs as well, in another hotfix patch.

Hopefully. the patch fixes it. I've been refraining from installing EaW on steam because I don't want to install the game twice (Steam and again with the CD) just to get the editor to work.

Ironically I'm back cause there's a new issue with the editor post-Windows 10 update
