Republic at War - How do I scout?
what units can I build (Early-mid game) that I can send to a planet undetected to see what ships they have in orbit?

With the empire you have probes, the consortium once you corrupt a planet you can see every unit in it and for the rebels i dont know

hmm, i didn't understand you sorry, if you mean to go to a planet and then have like a space battle but only with one ship that's undetected and see what they have you can't, the only way i know is what i typed before, maybe there's another way but i don't know, good luck

As the Republic I think you can use Jedi? I'm not sure, you can do raids with them, which should be your main tactic anyway, as the CSI is superior in space.

And as the CSI, well. Don't they have something like scout probes? If not then you can always suicide a smaller ship... or just go all in, as I said, CSI is superior with fighter-bomber spam carriers.


DrVater: he means "Republic at War" mod, it's a total conversion that changes sides to CSI and Republic

If you managed to survive till tech 4, you're stomping them anyway :D

Although those late-game space battles are pretty epic.
