I struggle with all the new names of people. Who on here used to play (either before or during my time) online and what was your name-tag?

I am curious who is around and has noticed, like me, that this game suddenly popped up on steam after god knows how many years.

Looking for some online nostalgic matches online when I get some free time.

Good god, I can't even remember my old tag... Played II and CC like crazy, but fell out of the scene around the time Tellurian was gaining momentum. "Wannafu" is the tag now! Been online almost every day for the last week

I used to be Animal_of_Doom on ICP - aka the guy with the Penguin gif avatar / the guy with the horribly broken English - and (I think) my username on ICO was YabbaDabbaDOOM (it still is!). I also used to be in the short-lived RaD clan, in which I was RaD_Ginyu. Still not sure how I ended up in there, because I was truly awful at the game, but there are bigger mysteries in life, I guess.

I was ROC_KILLANTHER for most of my ICO time. My username on ICP was the same as well. I made like 3 different IGNs now. I have ROC_KILLANTHER, Killa, and Osky. I go by Osky everywhere nowadays. I'm using Killa when I log on to ICO so ppl can recognize me.

Tbh, I've lost track of most of my names on here. As a child I would swap around a lot. My most common names were preceeded by a clan tag. UK_Dragon, Zoltron_Xtreme, RIP_Dragon, Extreme_Player and many other names. Basically, I was the annoying kid in the community in which played 24/7. Back with Shocker, Avi, Destiny, Porcupine, 6pack, 8ball, Cobra, Roxy, Cavey, Rocks, RIP_X, Bill, and hundreds of more people that I'm not going to bother typing out because you know them. Yes, I remember you very well. You were always a nice guy. Looking at the list of people above, I remember LIGHTINING as well XD.

I just now saw IC was on steam; had to buy it. Perfect Rain Creatures :) What mod are we playing now?

SansiQQ, we've been playing II more often than anything else. Although, people would prefer to play the Tel mod. There are some people who prefer IC, but they normally face bots in a co-op battle.

I use to play when the game was beta to after Insect for quite a while. Had a few different names: FuzzySilk, Classic_OMO FuzzySilk_pV(use to be partenered with 8ball) and play with a lot of the OMO guys Timeless_OMO, Vintage_OMO, Geezer_OMO, Retro_OMO, Petrified_OMO etc We use to play against the Zoltron guys all the time. I use to play with Com_Roxy(or just Roxy), changeling, quicksloth, Zoltron_Laser.

At one time I was number 8 on the leader boards(this was when the game first started). Then I was always somewhere between 100 to 200.

I also use to work on one of the fan sites for this game Impossible Creatures Planet and Dawn Of War.(DoWPlanent) and RTSPlanent.

But I tried playing these past couple nights and I am way out of practice, my timing and builds are way off. Plus I need to build some armies.

Anyway i am glad the game is back and hope to play more and get better at the game again. This was and is one of my favorite games of all time.

Hey Geezer and RIP_Lightning I remember you people! I was ahem:

CD_Cranium, AFO_RujiK, and finally LAG_Practis. I was the loudest most annoying player methinks.

Is anyone still player NR 15 at deep freeze? I remember that was a big thing for awhile.

Also Eroded Forts and Grove were like the top maps by a huge margin.
