If below answers doesn't help to resolver your issue, please switch to the beta branch, reproduce the problem and send your warnings.log file to devsupport AT nordicgames.at. Note that this file is overwritten every time the game is launched.

Please post solutions for other issues in this thread.

UNABLE TO CREATE A PROFILE

There are few solution that may help.

First
1. Run the game with Administrator priviliges

Second
1. Go to IC directory and delete any profiles in "profiles" folder, then start the game and create new.

Third
1. Delete the game / re-ints
2. Lunch the game ( not config.exe)

Fourth
1. Delete all IC files and folders(in steam app folder)
2. Re-install game
3. Turn off the IC's cloud file upload option
4. Run IC (don't run ICconfig.EXE now)
5. Create the profile and exit
6. Turn on cloud option and complete (run the game)

CAN'T MOVE MOUSE

You can fix it by setting the launch options.

-nohwcursor
or
-nohwcursor -noplatcursor

You can add this by entering game properties in the Steam game and click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS"

MULTIPLAYER OPIONS ARE GREYED OUT

First, try to deactivate Antivirus/Firewall for IC.exe.

If it doesn't help try the following steps.

For windows 10:

1. Right click Start
2. Click Programs and Features
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off
4. Make sure there is a check in Legacy Components
5. Click the + to expand
6. Check the box for DirectPlay

For other systems try to reinstall Direct Play

NAT IS ALWAYS STRICT

NAT type is displayed in the game hosting/joining screen. Strict NAT can have impact on lag in multiplayer. Forwarding UDP port 23022 on the router should fix this.

Whenever I try to set up a LAN game the screen just pauses for a second and then returns to the multipayer options screen after putting in the name and password. Any way to fix this?

FIX: Hosting finally worked for me when I disabled the UPnP on my router. After that any of the 3 computers could start to hosting without a problem. Note: I did have -noupnp in Steam Launch Options, but that was still not letting me Host. Win7 64bit

So i'm having issues with naming my creatures and my army. For some reason the text appears highlighted, left aligned, and isn't recognized as text. When not starting with capital letters, all letters and numbers are question marks. And I cant save a creature or an army because of the typing issue.

Do you use any sort of additional keyboard input method that doesn't use Roman characters? It sounds like IC is trying to use that.

Game won't launch :( I tried everything in this list.

I reinstalled 4 times now. did delete IC files, did turn off cloud, did start IC game directly. Every time I try to make a profile it says unknown error.

You can change the name by editing "name.dat". 12 character limit.

Last time I had that issue, I had to roll back my graphics card drivers to fix it. If there's a better way, I don't know of it.

Having an error right after launching and can't even load a menu. Has anyone solved this issue on Win10?

Tried all suggested fixes for the game not starting, along with a swathe of other things I could think of, but it won't start at all. Very disappointed, must request a refund.
