Cant start the game

Hi
When I clic on start it launches and it never open. Then the start button becomes again green.
I have windows 10 and all requirements for the game.
I have tested everything in the other discussions.
The file warning is saying that

And I think the crashes from the game are not written in the warning file, but it is from the editor which I can open...

Is there another warnings.log file named something like warnings1.log, warnings2.log, etc.?

Do you have a folder titled "data" in your Impossible Creatures game directory? If not, create one and then verify file integrity through Steam.

I have 1138 successfully verified... I have one Data file.
I don't find any other warning files... it is as if the game is not opening at all...

Does installing Microsoft C++ Redistributable 2015 fix it?

Yeah, you just need to set -nohwcursor as a launch option.

###RESOLVED### I find myself in the same quandary. I upgraded windows installed direct x repaired all c++ redistributable. i have a data folder . i have no idea where to find that log my tech savvy is 20 yrs in my rearview. (i took the time and looked i had 86 and 64 files for the 2012 c++ but not the 15 i dl the 86 and launch success. gracias Guadalupe)
