Well, I mean.

Original Johns were from CC/SMod. Liopleurodon/anteater. :p

I'm a really big fan of Spitting Cobra + Wolf to get an extremely cheap level 3 ranged unit with poison and pack hunter.

That isn't modded...

This thread is for units that use creatures from user-created mods.

Ahh my bad. I interpreted this as any creature combos that were including in modded editions, including the original ones (since Tellurian combos sometimes have different stats and abilities than vanilla, even with the same creatures).

In that case, for Tel 2.21, I love my Mantis Shrimp with Elephant head and back legs. Great defense and attack, with leap attack, horns, and dig (great for ambushes)

It's fine to post combos using solely vanilla creatures in the modded combo thread if there have been any notable changes to the creature (like the Tel warthog versus the vanilla warthog). Nothing notable has been changed to the Wolf or Spitting Cobra in Tel really.

Testing out some new combos in Tel 2.21 today.

Hornet and Humpback Whale. Kinda pricey for the stats, but you get great abilities. Colony allows you to make a ton of them, which allows you to overwhelm your opponent with numbers. On top of that, since its a flier, they can overlap and all attack at once. We'll see how it does.

Another one is the Blue Whale with beluga head. Cheap for the strength, great for attacking structures and henchmen from the water on water maps. Can't go on land though, which makes it specific for certain maps. Also has sonar to track structure development.

Lemming Killer Whales! Killer whales are usually really cheap and produce fairly quickly in Tel. Add in the lemmings overpopulation ability and you got yourself a cheap, high hp sonic unit that takes mere moments to produce. It doesn't have the best defence stat, but it can dig to get out of sticky situations. Good unit for mass swarming and overpowering your opponents

I've been using Lemming with Sperm Whales, but I never thought to try killer whale... Probably much better for spamming.

Naked Mole rats and killer whales for a digging, swimming, melee creature with Colony, pack hunter, and barrier destroy. A little pricier but still very effective in large groups, and it barely counts against your pop-cap.

in tellurian i played a little with Chameleon and Blue Whale, but obsceney pricy.
