I Don't Understand Steam

I honestly think that they only have two people that allow what on steam and what not. one is okay with anything and always allow it, while the other is really uptight about it and don't allow anything that even some what sexual, since from what i can tell, it basally a coin flip wether it allow in steam or not.

There's a certain steam employee that basically seems to hate anime and tries to find any reason to reject their stuff. Meanwhile, things like this get greenlit by the other ones. I honestly rather have a free and open Steam than one that's curated. Why? Because more than half of the things on here are already complete trash anyways. You might as well allow controversial, but interesting, devs to sell games here than occasionally have weird things like this slip through randomly.

I don't really get the people who like guro, but I'd rather this than arbitrary censorship.

Crazy they reject all Rance games but are somehow ok with this. I'm fine with this game being here but pretty annoying how the reject so many other better games just because they are anime.

yea but the context of the violance is extremely different. like, mortal combat we all know it is just "stupid" glorified gore and it is fine as it is. this game? errr.. it a tad disturbing lol

That’s like saying Mortal Kombat is targeting people who fantasize about all the violent things that happen in that game or like saying Grand Theft Auto is targeting people fantasizing about being criminals and also about doing violent things that happen in those games.

Keep an open mind and you will find that a lot of things are not black and white, and suddenly, a lot of things that you previously might be outraged about is no longer that big of a deal.

Is this a reply to me? Because I specifically called out anyone who gets off to this kind of content. Just playing the game out of morbid curiosity is fine, and I'm very anti-censorship, but if you actually "get off" to this, then you probably have something wrong with you that needs to be addressed.
