They should add subtitles for the non native speakers.
(Also, I have not played it, yet)
Perhaps it's not a big problem for native english speakers, but for most people, I'd say that having subtitles makes the story much clearer, since it's easier to understand what the characters are saying.
A better way of doing it was simply having passive subtitles, an option on the menu and maybe a little hint for the players not to use the subtitles, unless they have difficulty with the language.
Furthermore, I can understand how having the lines voiced could give a better understanding of the characters, in how they talked, rather than what they said. I don't think the voice-acting holds up to that point in this game, though.
(I've now played it to completion.)
Too bad not everyone in the world is a native English speaker nor has lived long enough in an English speaking country to understand oral English as well as written English...
Just sayin'
And to add to this, it's also too bad that not everyone has great hearing...
I think they must be necessary for many of the non-native English speakers who want to play the game.
Any news about it? QuantaCat is there a chance for 5 Steam Trading Cards (over 1,5 Million Collectors)?
