Assault has trading cards.
Strike does not. Seems they stepped everything back.

I hope the game gets trading cards. It's a fun little extra game that steam has to offer, and the first game had it. I just spent $5 buying booster packs for it and getting a level 5 badge. Now I'm gonna work on getting foils, but I'd really like to start getting cards for this game too.

always seems so stupid when they take the hour it takes to put a card set, but then don't do it on the follow up...cash grab?...well, that's always the first sign it's just that and nothing more..

Because I can't find the badge progress for it.

And I played it for a long time, getting all achievements.

Has it listed in my badges page, says I have 3 card drops remaining (As I havent installed or played it yet). So yeah, it does have a set.

Umm, ok thanks for the reply, I will install it and play it again and see if cards will drop for me.

Zorlac, did you complete the badge? I can't see it in your list.

Or could it be the cards became available after I had completed the game maybe?

Honestly I haven't played it that much on steam. I got it cause I loved it on 360 and just haven't got around to it here.

Oh ok, thanks again for your replies!

I read somewhere that if you bought it from a bundle or somewhere else instead of Steam, you won't unlock the cards, but I have the email of the receipt, that I bought it from Steam.

The other thing was, you need more than 2 hours play time for cards to drop, but I have more than that also.

I will install it again and check if they drop now. Other than that, I have no idea.

The bundle thing isn't true. Even games you get from other sites (humble bundle, green man gaming) still give cards when you activate them on steam. It treats them as a normal purchase.

I don't recall but it may have no had cards on release. They might have been added some time later which would be the reason.

well out of curiosity i went ahead and installed and idled, all cards dropped on time, so it certainly works, Can't explain why you're having a problem with it, but they certainly worked fine with me just now.

I think I see your problem. You're running strike. Strike doesn't have cards while assault does. That was the point of this thread.

I installed Halo Spartan Assault today and left it 3 hours running.

I am still playing Halo Spartan Strike, but I know that 1 has no cards.
